Fusion Risk Management Receives ISO 27001 and 27701 Certifications

The third-party accreditation from the International Standards Organization demonstrates Fusion’s ongoing commitment to meeting the highest standards of information security and privacy as it serves as a trusted partner for its global customers.

The ISO 27001 certification is an internationally recognized standard for information security management systems. It demonstrates Fusion’s comprehensive approach to protecting customer data from unauthorized access, loss, or damage, and it reinforces the company’s commitment to maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of its customers’ data. The ISO 27701 certification focuses on privacy information management systems and validates Fusion’s adherence to rigorous privacy practices and its commitment to respecting the privacy rights of its customers, partners, and users.

The certification was conducted by A-LIGN, an independent third-party auditor, which found Fusion to have technical controls in place and formalized Privacy and IT Security policies and procedures. A-LIGN is an ISO 27701 and ISO 27001 certification body accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to perform PIMS 27701 and ISMS 27001 certifications. The certification shows that Fusion has implemented several security measures and countermeasures that protect it from unauthorized access or compromised PII, and IT personnel were found to be conscientious and knowledgeable in best practices.
