Fusion Risk Management’s Bogdana Sardak is Honored with the Continuity and Resilience Professional (Private Sector) Award in the Business Continuity Institute’s Americas Awards 2023

Chicago, IL – Fusion Risk Management, Inc. (“Fusion”), a leading provider of cloud-based operational resilience, business continuity, and risk management software and services, has announced that Bogdana Sardak, Vice President of Risk and Resiliency, has been awarded the Continuity and Resilience Professional (Private Sector) award in the Business Continuity Institute (BCI)’s Americas Awards 2023. Bogdana’s most recent award win recognizes her commitment to strengthening business continuity and operational resilience initiatives at Fusion® as well as within the wider risk and resilience community.
The BCI Americas Awards recognize the outstanding contributions of business continuity, risk, and resilience professionals and organizations living and operating within the Americas region. The judging panel consists of 18 risk and resiliency professionals and is adjudicated to the BCI Competency Framework to better recognize and celebrate the achievements of nominees and the resilience community based on established industry standards and best practices.
The past several years have been marked with increasing regulatory pressure for organizations, with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and Bank of England (BoE) putting forth guidelines for operational resilience. With this market need in mind, Bogdana spearheaded an initiative to develop and implement a new operational resilience framework at Fusion. The framework allows Fusion to better understand its customers’ resilience expectations as well as develop core products and services that organizations require to achieve their business continuity and operational resilience goals.

This award win is another in an impressive list of Bogdana’s accomplishments, with her recently being named in the Built In Moxie Awards 2023, an award that recognizes women in tech for their contributions to their workplaces and the wider community. Bogdana is also an Associate Member Business Continuity Institute (AMBCI) and Certified Information Privacy Professional US by IAPP (CIPP/US).
